First pictures with a Pentax W10 - underwater macro! The reason for adding this camera to my kit was for underwater imaging of insects and fish so I thought that it would be appropriate to start off with the first images as such. So far so good. I will definetly need good light to do this in the field. The posted images are unretouched - the brighter ones taken with the flash, the darker without. All files are Copyright © 2006 J. First images taken with new Pentax W10. Camera was purchased for underwater macro imaging of fish and insects, so I thought that the first images should be such images. Subjects were a golden stone and a small water boatman. Twenty images were shot, with lack of light - leading to slower sutter speeds being the reason for the low keeper rate. The first images were taken with a flash, the subsequent without. Images are as shot camera jpg's with default 'underwater macro' presets.
