2007 SPU Fall Sports Galleries

Hi SPU Students, Parents, and Friends,
Thank you all for coming to my website to look at and purchase my SPU Falcon athletics photos. I am happy for the opportunity to cover your sports and hope that you enjoy my work. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions/comments/suggestions at troutstreaming@gmail.com . If you are looking for images for commercial or editorial use, please contact me directly or contact the SPU athletic department.Print and product ordering and shipping are handled by a third party (Smugmug) so that I can concentrate on capturing images and maximizing their quality through custom post-processing. Please do not hesitate to contact them if you have issue with an order or the shopping cart feature at help@smugmug.com.
I shoot with Canon professional digital SLR's bodies and lenses and post-process my images using a number of tools such as Adobe's Lightroom and Photoshop (with a variety of plug-ins) and other third party processing tools (I2E and NoiseNinja for example). In general images are batch processed using automated tools prior to uploading them to the Troutstreaming website for viewing. After ordering (unless otherwise noted - such as for the $1.00 4x6's) I then go back to the original image and post-process each image that is ordered by hand to maximize the quality of color, contrast, and sharpness of the print utilizing professional post-processing techniques on color profiled equipment (color cast neutralization, color enhancement, contrast enhancement using curves and exotic color spaces and three types of sharpening enhancements - traditional USM [unsharp mask] plus two types of HiRaLoAm methods). For those of you that are interested in learning more about post-processing work I highly recommend the Dan Margulis Photoshop books.
Images will be arranged by sport and date and will be uploaded within several days of the game/match, when time allows within 24 hours. Orders are made by utilizing the shopping cart feature of the site which requires that javascript and cookies be enabled. Please feel free to share the url of the galleries with friends and relatives and to browse to your hearts content as I pay for unlimited bandwidth, but remember that the images are copyrighted works. The site also supports comment and image rating features if you would like to leave your thoughts for all to see.
Feedback is always welcome and appreciated! Please feel free to e-mail me or flag me down before or after an event. And yes, I am available to photograph other events and subjects. Please browse the troutstreaming.com site to see examples of my work.
